“Placenta Encapsulation is the process of turning your baby’s placenta into capsules that will be consumed as a supplement.
Placenta Encapsulation benefits a postpartum mother in a number of ways. It has been known to increase energy, aid in milk production, decrease postnatal bleeding, decrease incidence of iron deficiency, and elevate mood by balancing hormone fluctuations. The placenta is full of nutrients and has been used in Tradition Chinese Medicine (TCM) for centuries to aid in the relief of fatigue and lacta
tion issues.”

Birth matters to the baby who enters life with fear or with love,
to motherhood and fatherhood that is ignited through the birth process,
to all those present who may experience the sacredness of spirit incarnating, and
to the world that receives the new soul in its midst.

“Shanti is the Sanskrit word for peace. Shanti Yoga is devoted to promoting peace to individuals, families, communities and the world – with special programs for mothers as the foundation of the family. Self-awareness, deep relaxation, breathing and visualization techniques along with clear knowledge and understanding of how we are designed to give birth through the natural approach of HypnoBirthing helps bring women and the birthing community to a more peaceful place and, most importantly, to give babies and parents the best possible start on this new life.”

PLEASE NOTE – Shanti Yoga center’s new website is currently under construction. They are still offering classes though. Please be sure to contact Lakshmi for water yoga, prenatal yoga, and hypnobirthing classes.
